Art D'Eco (...d'eco...d'eco...d'eco...)

Art D’Eco, an exhibition featuring thirty-four works of art with a “green” theme will be on display at Gallery 125 from February 12 through April 3, 2010, with an opening reception Friday, February 12, from 6 to 9 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

“...Art D’Eco showcases art that utilizes found objects, recycled materials, non-traditional materials and raises awareness about the impact of environmental issues affecting us. Included in the exhibit are an assortment of works that span the utilitarian, fantastical and whimsical...”

The juror for this exhibit was Michelle Barfoot, Associate Professor of Digital Media Arts at Mercer MCCC. In addition to her work as an educator, Michelle (BFA, Studio Art and Masters, Industrial Design) is an artist who uses her work to explore human experience and meaning in a digital ecosphere.

The gallery is located at 125 S. Warren St. at the corner of W. Lafayette St., across from the Trenton Marriott. The reception is part of downtown’s monthly Trenton2Nite festivitiesGallery hours are Tuesday through Friday noon to 6 p.m. and Saturday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information contact the gallery at 609- 989-9119.
